比起日出，我更喜歡看日落……
主要是日出太早，起不來呵……
靜靜的等待日落，有股淡淡的幸福……

在大吳哥的巴肯山欣賞日落……
平臺上擠滿慕名而來的旅客……
氣喘吁吁爬上山，就爲了一睹那幾分鈡的日落
但是一切代價都是值得的……

因爲除了難忘的夕陽日落景色
還可以看到俊男美女……

還沒知道這是蘇軾的詞之前
已經對它琅琅上口……
不爲什麽
只爲從前有個人很喜歡鄧麗君的《但願人長久》
聼多了自然就會背
雖然那時候似懂非懂

初三的華語課本裏就有這首宋詞
開始一點了解詞的意境
結果那次考試
不費吹灰之力
就把整首詞都默出來

熟悉的詞，陌生的曲
還是比較喜歡鄧麗君的版本
不是新曲沒有味道，
只不過遇到像我這樣沒啥音樂細胞的人
音樂是注定要輸給回憶……

I’m sure many Malaysians will share the same opinion after reading the following calculation… Cost of living is rising faster than the income, esp in Klang Valley… Talk about surviving in this country, neither in the forest nor whatever scenario we see in reality shows…yet those politicians think we rank relatively low comparing to other cities…but why not they try to compete with their efficiency and water drainage system?

Can a family man with Salary RM3,000 survive in Malaysia?
Let’s do some simple calculations here.
In Malaysia, the average family income is RM3,000 /month
(where father works, mother doesn’t).

I understand there are many families whose monthly income does not reach RM3,000, but, to make things simple, let’s take RM3,000 as the figure. Ok lah, right?

Okay, let’s start rolling with a family which has Papa, Mama, 1 daughter and 1 son. Ngam-ngam ….
Calculation starts…

1. Electricity and water bill: RM100
(No air-con, No home theatre, No water heater … ok?)
2. Phone bill ( Telekom): RM100
3. Meals for a happy family: RM775
(3 meals on RM25/day, RM25 for 4 persons…?)
4. Papa makan / teh-tarik during working hrs: RM155
(RM5/day, RM5 … can eat what?)
5. Car repayment: RM400
(A proton saga aeroback, 7 yrs repayment)
6. Petrol (living in city, traffic-jam): RM300
(go to work, bring son to school, only can afford one car running)
7. Insurance:RM650
(kids, wife and myself)
8. House repayment: RM750
(low cost housing repayment for 30 yrs, retired still have to work to pay!)
9. Tuition: RM80
(got that cheap meh? i don’t think so)
10. Older children pocket money @ school: RM20
(RM1/day, eat bread?)
11. School fees: RM30
(enough ah?)
12. School books and etc: RM100
(always got extra to pay in school)
13. Younger children milk powder: RM50
(cannot have the DHA, BHA, PHA one, expensive)
14. Miscellaneous: RM100
(shampoo, rice, sauce, toilet paper)

Oh wait!!! I have to stop here, so…
No Astro,
no movie @ cinema,
no DVD,
no CD,
no online,
cannot KFC,
cannot McDonald,
cannot go Park walk during weekend (petrol expensive),
no chit chat on phone with grandparents, and etc…

Let’s use a calculator to total up… WALAO EH!
Shit! RM3,610 already…
EPF belum potong, income tax lagi……..oledi RM3,610 …
How to survive lah tuan-tuan dan puan-puan sekalian ???
Our Deputy Prime Minister asked us to change lifestyle?
How to change? Don’t eat? Don’t work? Don’t send children to school and study?
Besides that, I believe in Malaysia population, there are millions of rakyat Malaysia which still don’t earn RM3,000/month!!!
What is this? Inilah Malaysia Boleh… Sorry… it should be Malaysians Boleh , because we’re still alive and kicking!!
Our politicians must be mad!!!!

The moral of this story?
1. It’s a wise choice not having any children.
2. u must be rich to own a happy family.. as chinese saying goes, 贫贱夫妻百事哀 (hmm.. meaning poor family mourn for almost everything… or sth like tat lar…)
3. most malaysians are the champion of survival… striving hard to live…
4. we can’t trust our dear YBs, datuk datuk or tan sri tan sri out there… not to say relying them to help us… (okay, maybe once a while when there’s an election or any re-election approaching…)

Any solutions to improve the situation? hmm… aim high, marry a rich guy… for girls i mean… tat’s the only way i could think of… and i’m sorry for guys out there, you would need to practice the principle of KBSM (Kerja Berat Sampai Mati)…

真有幾分道理……總的來說，就是喜歡花錢做些不切實際的事……
可以花十多塊吃一杯雪糕
買一大堆不知道什麽時候才會排上用場的首飾
但是如果問我爲什麽？抓破腦子都想不出個答案……
就好像我們不能明白爲什麽有人心甘情願花大把銀兩買票曬太陽看F1賽車一樣……
一張入場票明明就可以吃很多杯Häagen-Dazs……
